Position: Assistant Account Executive

Department: Personal Lines – LI

Work Location: 1000 Woodbury Road, Woodbury, NY

Summary: To assist the Woodbury Account Executive team in NY service the personal lines located in that office. This individual will be responsible for processing and updating all client accounts and respond to local Account Executive requests as appropriate in order to support the service goals of the agency while gaining insurance knowledge and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities; including but not limited to:

• Sole responsibility for handling all processing for personal lines renewals, endorsement, cancellations & non pays for 10+ personal insurance carriers.

• Processes incoming requests and update customer accounts with coverage information when applicable.

• Work with Account Executives to process endorsements.

• Set Follow Ups on all self-initiated activities in addition to follow up all EPIC ACTIVITIES that are assigned by the Account Manager.

• Assists Account Executives with research and problem solving as requested (provide general assistance).

• Maintain effective business relationships with customers, Underwriters, Company representatives and other HUB employees as necessary.

• Perform as team player within unit and agency.

• Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College degree or 4+ years experience in similar position or an equivalent combination of both

• Valid P&C license

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated experience with Word, Excel, E-mail and internet

• EPIC experience preferred

The expected pay range for this position is $27.47 an hour to $35.72 an hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
