Hub International Sales and Marketing Support Specialist in Woodbridge, Ontario

HUB Financial Inc., Canada’s largest Life Insurance Managing General Agency is looking for a self-motivated Sales & Marketing Support Specialist (Broker Development Specialist) to join our team. We have flexibility for this role to work out of our both our Markham and Woodbridge, Ontario offices. The ideal candidate will be confident and able to manage strong client relationship, have effective communication and time management skills with an insurance background. This role reports directly to the Regional Vice President, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Educate brokers on HUB’s services, value and offerings

  • Stimulate production through service and support to brokers by equipping brokers for client proposals

  • Educate and assist brokers on delivering and pursuing opportunities by promoting the use of HUBMasterworks, HUBCompass, HUBForce and HUBArchitect

  • Educate brokers on various Life Insurance carriers, respective products, and supporting brokers with product selection and positioning via the use of the carrier wholesaler networks in most cases

  • Train brokers on HUBLINK and back-office platforms and sell the value of HUB’s technology

  • Market and promote events put on by HUB for brokers and to act as the host at seminars

  • Build and enhance new and existing broker relationships

  • Identify opportunities to bring new producers to HUB Financial Inc.

  • Serve as a key resource to our brokers by bringing value through upgrading product knowledge and recognizing opportunities for advanced market sales

  • Organize Regional events, arrange Carrier meetings and setup Webinars

  • Track marketing allowance

  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • University Degree or College Diploma and/or equivalent work experience

  • 3 – 5 years’ of industry experience (preferably with an MGA , wholesaler or relevant insurance sales experience)

  • Completed or working towards LLQP or CFP designation, with the desire to continue learning an asset

  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational skills, adaptable, results and solution oriented

  • Ability to multitask, effectively time manage and exerciseinitiatives to achieve results
