Manager, SalesWindsor, ON

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager is accountable for executing tactics within the business unit in order to meet quarterly and annual goals. They are responsible for developing and supporting their Team Leaders and front-line employees, coordinating their activities to ensure that all goals are met while focusing on client retention and cost control through staff efficiency.

The Sales Manager will foster and maintain a positive work environment and an effortless customer experience and act as one of the main contacts with our insurance partners and program sponsors.

This role has the flexibility to be based anywhere in Ontario.


  • With senior leadership develop and execute quarterly and annual goals for the team/business unit.

  • Utilize available reporting tools to compare actual performance vs. targets/goals. Provide feedback to senior leadership on trends and steps taken/to be taken to improve

  • Actively participate in management meetings focused on evaluation of results and planning for anticipated volumes.

  • Support Team Leaders by identifying developmental needs through active monitoring of work activities and assist employees in reaching their full potential by completing regular Employee Quarterly Check-ins, coaching sessions, and creating individualized coaching plans when necessary. Work with available resources to source and make available training to address developmental needs of Team Leaders and staff.

  • Recognize and encourage areas of strength, and initiate corrective steps to address areas of concern through coaching opportunities and documenting important details.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR on employee performance and behavior issues including progressive discipline, up to and including terminations.

  • Support Team Leaders with the handling of escalations and use the situations as developmental and coaching opportunities to avoid future occurrences.

  • Ensure that staff schedules and time management system is utilized effectively to ensure contact centre performance expectations are met.

  • Participate in extracurricular team building activities which may occur outside of office hours.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Appropriate insurance license in good standing.

  • Experience as a Program Manager or Team Leader within HCC.

  • Prior leadership experience

  • A self starter requiring little direct supervision and a with a strong commitment to delivering results

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in one-on-one and group settings

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Post-secondary education preferred.

  • Availability to work various shifts and days of the week as required in order to support the staff.

  • Ability to handle fluctuating work volumes in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
