We are currently seeking an Assistant Account Executive to join our Employee Benefits Department. This position will provide support to Account Executives with daily client management issues such as claims, eligibility, and service issues as well as train to manage their own book of business.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Account maintenance, including updates to client files, scanning and attaching of plan documents, and updating Employee Benefits systems and databases

• Assisting in the resolution of common account issues through internal Underwriting infrastructure and/or matrix partners

• Working on other projects as assigned

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Employee Benefits insurance environment

• Valid Life & Health License

• 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Superb attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
