Hub International Regional Operations Integration Liaison in United States

Position Description:

The Operations Integration Liaison (OIL) operates as the single field-based point of contact to drive the timeline, communication and accountability of all aspects of an M&A’s integration. This role will work with the local HUB South leadership teams (in coordination with the M&A team) to provide support and drive forward the pre-close due diligence and post-close integration transitions. The OIL will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and streamlining M&A due diligence and integration processes at the regional level. This position may work remote and may be located across the HUB South region.

M&A Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Coordinate various integration-related decisions and timelines in conjunction with the Regional President, the Hub President and the various discipline leaders.

  • Manage the overall M&A integration process including the development, management and coordination of integration project plans and timelines encompassing several critical deliverables including the following for example:

  • Notifying carriers and clients (working with the sellers) to transition the business to HUB

  • Implementing HUB branding/marketing changes (co-branding)

  • Adding acquisitions to HUB’s insurance policies (pre-close)

  • Provide training on HUB’s various tools/resources working with the various HUB discipline leaders (Kronos, Workday, CRM, ZyWave, etc.)

  • Assist with pre-closing reports and prospect review

  • Post-closing, will be responsible for working with local teams to coordinate key meetings, product introductions, resource introductions, etc.

  • Introduce critical path and other internal HUB processes to acquisitions

  • First point of contact for the acquisition for trouble shooting and involving resources as needed.

  • Assist with key systems conversion processes (EPIC, Cloud, Benefitpoint, etc.)

  • Participate in update calls and ensure that integration progress is tracked and on plan

  • Continuous operational process development and improvement

  • Development and completion of defined project deliverables

  • Ability to travel extensively

Experience and Education requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the insurance industry strongly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in the M&A process including conducting due diligence and leading integration projects to successful completion

  • Project management experience

  • Strong project management and leadership skills working with diverse stakeholders and strategic partners. Must have excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and planning and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and maintains excellent follow-through and follow-up

  • Must be able to interact and collaborate effectively with senior management

  • Must be able to travel as needed.
