Hub International AVP- Workforce Absence Management in United States
Provide subject matter expertise in Integrated Absence Management programs, knowledgeable in Short and Long Term Disability, FMLA/leave of absence, Paid Time Off (including sick and vacation), and coordination with Workers’ Compensation.
Conducts analytical evaluations on absence-related data received from carriers/vendors and employers
Establish and maintain relationships with senior and executive level client contacts by providing superior levels of service
Build and maintain external networks including vendors, partners, industry resources, etc.
Develop strategy options and evaluation criteria for clients around absence programs and lead implementation of strategies
Play lead role in fact-finding, analytic investigation to identify issues and risks
Identify people and systems implications required to enable solutions
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
1-3 years of experience in Paid Time Off, Disability, Leave and absence programs consulting/management.
Experience with consulting group or employer preferable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High degree of self-motivation and discipline
Ability to travel and work beyond normally scheduled workweek as necessary
Reasoning ability including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
This position may work remote and may be located across the HUB South region.
