Hub International Retirement Plan Advisor in Vancouver, British Columbia
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Retirement Plan Advisor, you will work alongside our Consultants to help deliver HUB’s strategy by supporting individual retirement plan members with basic financial and investment advice. We are seeking an individual with a focus in client service in order to attract and retain clients to join our Downtown Vancouver in a Regular Full Time position.
Our Bentall Vancouver Location is centrally located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver with easy access to skytrain, bus service and amenities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Retirement Plan Advisor you will:
Conduct one-on-one meetings with Plan Members
Respond to plan member phone & email inquiries
Participate in ‘off hours’ Member Client meetings, events and/or seminars
Proactively source, contact and assist group plan members whom are terminating employment or retiring with an asset base within our target market
Cross-sell existing clients
Provide general Group RRSP/Pension Client Services support
Keep CRM up-to-date with changes and additions
Attend and actively participate in industry and company events/meetings
Support plan provider search analysis
Support the client pension plan governance process
Pursue new GRS opportunities for the retirement practice
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
As the successful candidate , you will bring:
A related designation i.e. CEBS, RPA or preferably CFP
A Post-secondary education (diploma or degree)
A successfully completed LLQP and Insurance License
Over three years of experience in investment consulting, retirement planning or related experience
A highly developed oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
An Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under time pressure
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
