Job Summary

The HUB Private Client/Global Marine Customer Service Representative must provide exceptional, professional, and courteous service to all client, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues. Company account retention goals must meet or exceed company expectations while providing a high level of support to the producer(s) so business can be maintained and expanded.

Responsibilities vary throughout the day and may include but not limited to the following:

  • Account development in accordance with company policy, best practices, and procedures

  • Maintain an accurate, organized, high level of day-to-day workflow

  • Assists with the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for all accounts requested

  • Stay abreast of changes within the industry and any other external conditions that may impact clients

  • Troubleshoot claims and billing issues

  • Prepare reports for management as requested

  • Thoroughly and appropriately document files with client or representative communication and update all computer systems and/or automated agency management systems

  • When requested, attend industry related courses, continuing education seminars, or shows

Requirements

The formal education and experience for this position can vary however, the following are commonly required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior customer service and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work within a team environment

  • Ability to multi-task effectively and handle a face paced business environment

  • Flexibility with daily tasks

  • Fast and accurate typing skills

  • Goal oriented

  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize

  • Excellent, strong decision-making ability

Licensing and/or Certification Requirements

  • Minimum of a FL 4-40 or similar licensing in appropriate state(s)

  • Current CE credits in required lines and state(s)

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • College education preferred

  • Knowledge of watercraft industry

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
