As a HUB VP, New Business Development, you will be responsible for cultivating leads, prospects, and close sales resulting in new clients. You will be responsible for HUB’s Retirement Plan & Investment Consulting business through direct and intermediary channels. This is an entrepreneurial role and an opportunity to join a growing area of the business.

Responsibilities: VP of New Business Development (SW) is responsible for all sales activities for HUB Retirement Plan and Investment Consulting Solutions. You'll impact sales by partnering with COIs, other Industry Experts, and business owners sharing problem solving ideas, answering product questions, identifying new sales opportunities, and managing all sales activities for the southwest region.

  • Prospect, develop and close HUB’s Retirement Plan & Investment Consulting prospects through the execution of a well-designed business plan.

  • The ability to present to groups of decision makers, ability to provide consulting expertise and timely follow-ups.

  • Partner with Relationship Mangers and investment staff as appropriate to strategically increase all revenue opportunities. .

  • Advance and ensure all HUB’s brands are properly placed and promoted among Centers of Influence.

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of our Retirement Plan and Investment Consulting services as well as all other HUB brands. and partner with Marketing team to create effective sales and revenue generation campaigns.

  • Regularly and timely enter and keep up to date HUB CRM and other sales report systems.

  • Thrive in an external facing and results-oriented environment with limited oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Study and pass the series 65 securities exam in the first 120 days of employment

  • Minimum of 5 plus years retirement industry or related sales experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of the retirement plan industry and financial markets required. Competitive intelligence a plus.

  • Sustained record of success closing business.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
