THE OPPORTUNITY:

HUB’s Customer Service professionals provide critical support to our customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that make us a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, you will be amongst some of the industry’s top talent to help guide and support our customer’s needs and provide them with innovative solutions.

The purpose of the Benefit Architect Technology Supervisor is to ensure all members of the team are aligned with the company vision to create an amazing customer experience by working through and resolving all benefit system related issues in a timely manner. Think of this position as being a detective working a benefit system crime scene. You’re specialized in the area of investigating technology system design. You collect all the benefit plan design evidence to build the case (aka the system). Then you share your findings with the client, their employees, and the internal HUB International Team. After receiving approval of the evidence, you submit/share findings, close the case, and move to the next investigation. As part of being a detective, you must be detailed, have above average communication skills, the ability to think outside the box and, most importantly, patience!

  • You enjoy being a teacher, mentor, and leader. Coaching and growing a team is one of your favorite things

  • Establishing a friendly, helpful, and trusting relationship with our clients, their employees and HUB’s internal teams is a must. You are the Shining Star when it comes to customer service. This makes a world of difference to our client companies, their employees, and your HUB team.

  • Playing in the Technology sandbox is your favorite! You enjoy all things HRIS such as Employee Navigator (you really love this one), B-Swift (you have fun here) and Ease (you like to visit occasionally). In addition to HRIS systems, working in Smartsheets & Excel excites you. Using formulas are fun and make you giggle.

  • Being a detective! In the world of benefit technology, the issues can be as simple as helping a client or employee reset their password or as difficult as trying to determine why the wrong data is passing to our carrier partners. You will need to put on your thinking cap and use your analytical skills daily to dig deep and research specific issues for a client and/or internal team members. Your answers will be invaluable, and you will be required to provide clear and accurate information. The information you’re sharing should help all those to better understand the situation and cope with whatever the outcome may be.

  • Patience is virtue! You’re the guru of patience. You’re engaged with your audience and can show you care. You love showing off your excellent technology & customer service skills in all your interactions, whether you are answering a call, responding to voice mails, or writing emails.

  • Being bored annoys you. Yes, this is a good thing! Your day will be filled by training internal team members and HUB clients along with onboarding new clients, renewing existing benefit builds, and completing ongoing service maintenance of the employee benefit enrollment platforms.

  • Rolling up your sleeves and digging in is fun. You love being a leader, but you enjoy jumping into the trenches to stay current and update on the roles and responsibilities of your team. This is a hands-on kind of job.

  • Networking is a must. In this role you will work with carriers, clients, and account teams to facilitate file feeds between benefit administration systems, carriers, payroll vendors, and/or other Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) platforms.

  • You get benefits! COBRA, medical, dental, life, vision, etc., you know how they work and are comfortable communicating and setup of plan details and rules within benefit enrollment platforms.

  • Technology is your best friend! No seriously, you love knowing all the little intricacies’ that make systems work. You’re passionate about learning the needs of the client and the internal team so you can provide the best possible management & design of the system set-up. You also enjoy learning how to use new systems whether it be logging into a carrier portal, HRIS, Microsoft Office or extracting data necessary to perform your job, all of these things excite you!

  • Shhh . . . it’s a secret! Confidentiality is a must. The data we manage for our clients demands hyper security sensitivity. Protecting company information is a top priority in our world.

  • Nothing falls through the cracks. Starting and finishing all projects defines success for anyone in this role!

  • You DON’T have all the answers and that’s okay! We are the dream team for a reason, we help our teammates in need. You are comfortable asking for help when you need it and lend a helping hand to a comrade when they are in need. Culture is important to us and our team is our core to success.

  • Being on time is a plus in your world. You despise missing a deadline or a deliverable.

  • You’re a teacher by nature. You have the uncanny ability to share your knowledge. Sharing is caring, and you take the time to support and train team members and clients on how to use their benefits administration system.
