Hub International Marketing Coordinator in San Diego, California

We are looking for a self-starting individual with strong experience in B2B marketing to develop and execute various marketing strategies for our regional offices. The Field Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for helping us grow brand awareness, maintain our regional shared leads program to deliver high quality leads and support pipeline acceleration activities to further generate revenue.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be results driven and have superior attention to detail, especially with analytics. Reporting to the Field Marketing Manager, this is a great position to learn and grow with the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Field Marketing Manager to execute marketing initiatives from regional marketing plans

  • Test, optimize, and manage a range of lead generation strategies to drive growth in Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) while maintaining a healthy Cost-per-Lead (digital, sponsorships, speaking engagements, trade shows, webinars, etc.)

  • Obtain feedback on quality of leads (MQLs) and sales opportunities generated from marketing campaigns through CRM system

  • Support lead nurture and lead re-engagement programs

  • Coordinate schedule and deliverables of assigned campaigns and work with vendors as well as key functions within marketing and sales

  • Help organize marketing events (virtually & in-person) in assigned regions including event schedule, venue contracts, registration set up, promotion, day-of logistics and follow up

  • Coordinate, test, edit and execute email sends from marketing automation system including maintaining various email subscription lists

  • Assist with advertising campaigns (digital and print) in assigned regions including research (testing and optimizing), booking/contacts, content creation and tracking performance

  • Track all marketing events and campaigns in CRM system and report on key success metrics weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually (email performance, campaign performance, revenue tracking and pipeline tracking)

  • Track and manage all tasks in project management system (Workfront)

  • Research/monitor local and regional community events, sponsorships, competitor activity and new and/or creative opportunities to drive lead generation in assigned territories

  • Provide support for all other members of the field marketing team and their duties as needed


  • Customer service oriented with the ability to deliver a high-quality marketing experience to internal stakeholders and maintain strong relationships in the field

  • Proactive and self-motivated “go-getter” and proven track record in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with successful execution

  • Solid understanding of demand generation program creation, execution, measurement, analysis and reporting

  • Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines

  • Positive attitude and inclination to take on any requested task

  • Demonstrated proficiency on leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools

  • Learns quickly and efficiently and can work both independently and as part of a team, in person and remote

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Project Management software experience a plus

  • BS/BA degree

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, or related field or related education

  • 2-3 years of related strategic marketing experience, or an equivalent of education and experience. B2B, insurance brokerage, or related services experience preferred.

  • Ability to work in a matrixed team environment, where the completion of projects depends on collaboration with marketing and practice professionals, often from varying levels and different departments

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with employees of all levels, critical thinking ability with business and marketing aptitude, strong project management and organizational skills, ability to manage internal client expectations and to prioritize and plan work activities, precise attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
