California Regional Systems Trainer Riverside, CA

Reporting to the CAL Chief Operating Officer, you will deliver training and support to HUB California employees on the Applied EPIC system, as well as supporting the general operating environment.

The EPIC Training position will:

  • Provide training on business workflows and processes within the Commercial and Personal Lines BMS system for HUB which is Applied/EPIC

  • Develop and deliver BMS software application training programs and individual classes

  • Present instructor-led training sessions in person or via web meeting process

  • Review and help to develop training materials and documentation to identify continuous improvement opportunities

  • Support new and existing employees with questions on workflows and processes

  • Work and collaborate with corporate BMS application and training teams to understand, learn and demonstrate solid knowledge of any changes and upcoming application upgrades/enhancements

  • Participate in all upgrade and maintenance update testing

  • Stay up to date with industry technology developments

  • Become a Certified Facilitator for the Hub Ignite Curriculum through the Corporate Learning & Development Team

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, education and licensing certifications, geographic location, approved salary budget as well as the specific position’s business line, complexity, scope and level. You are perfect for this opportunity if you have . . .

  • 3-5 years minimum of in-person and virtual instructional delivery or facilitation utilizing the Applied EPIC BMS system

  • Minimum 5 years desk level experience for Commercial Insurance with general knowledge of Personal insurance and insurance brokerage operations

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude

  • Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language

  • Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly

  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Ability to travel up to 25% time between training locations as required

  • Position should preferably be based in California

  • Ability to review EPIC and know how to help and respond to how to’s or workflow help questions

  • Transaction/Invoice basic knowledge

  • Knowledge of Commercial & Personal lines coverages and processes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3 – 7 years of insurance industry work experience

  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of enterprise and desktop applications (e.g., Epic, and Microsoft Office Suite of products)

  • BenefitPoint knowledge a plus

  • Highly self-motivated and directed

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
