Regional Technology Practice LeaderOmaha, NE

HUB is seeking an experienced professional to join us as a Workforce Technology Practice Leader for our West Region. This position is responsible for providing regional leadership and subject matter expertise in all aspects of HCM Technology. This individual will support sales and service clients with technology needs analysis and recommendations for HCM solutions that align with the organization’s strategic goals to modernize their technology. The TPL supports the process from start to finish including needs analysis, vendor demonstrations and selection, platform implementation and ongoing client support.


  • Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Benefits/HR and payroll technology solutions for HUB prospects and clients.

  • Maintain solid understanding and knowledge of Benefit/HCM Technology vendors, their solutions and industry trends.

  • Conduct client technology needs analysis, vendor search and selection process

  • Preparation of educational material, presentations and marketplace insights for staff and clients

  • Vendor onboarding with client

  • Participate in vendor implementations as needed to provide client guidance to ensure system setup is in accordance with client requirements.

  • Assist clients with post implementation issue resolution by acting as liaison with vendor to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Participate in vetting new vendor solutions.

  • Manager local vendor relationship collaborating with HUB Producers and Account managers for mutually beneficial program support.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus.

  • 5+ years employee benefit insurance experience or similar experience working for a benefit administration or HCM technology firm.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel; ability to listen, clarify and respond well to questions.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Knowledge or project management software such as is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Must possess a passion for teamwork, client service and reaching business results through problem solving.

  • Position requires approximately 20% regional travel but may be heavier at times.

Required Travel: Up to 50%

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
