The Opportunity:

Join us as an Insurance Coordinator , where you'll bridge the gap between Insurance Brokers and Carriers (Insurance Companies), ensuring seamless service and support. As an integral part of our team, you'll play a key role in managing client accounts, resolving issues, and fostering long-term relationships.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing life insurance applications, conducting quality audits, providing underwriting feedback, maintaining strong broker relationships, and facilitating efficient communication between all parties involved. This position offers a dynamic environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and advance your career in the insurance industry.

A day in the life:

  • Be the voice of the Broker and ensure Brokers meet compliance standards and expectations of both the carrier and HUB Financial.

  • Manage full-cycle for life insurance application and investment cases from submission to broker commission

  • Perform quality audits on all life insurance and investment applications received ensuring regulatory, carrier policies and HUB’s procedures are met and complied with by the broker

  • Identify discrepancies and address any issues with the broker and/or insurance carriers

  • Provide underwriting feedback to brokers on carrier products, policies and requirements

  • Consistently follow-up on cases and obtain medical vendor and carrier requirements from the brokers; communicate decisions to brokers

  • Support brokers on new carrier policies, regulatory changes and HUB updates

  • Build strong relationships with brokers in order to assist in streamlining their life insurance and investment applications and uphold service standards

  • Assist brokers with their insurance and investment inforce business

  • Process investment trades with accuracy and sending paperwork to the carriers.

Who you are:

  • A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver a positive Broker experience

  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite & most online meeting platforms

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

  • Experience working in the Life Insurance industry is an asset

  • Experience using WealthServ an asset

  • Three to five years’ related experience

  • College diploma and/or university degree or equivalency

  • Experienced in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
