Position Summary:

The Regional Talent Development Manager is a new role and part of the growing HUB HR team. This role is accountable for crafting and delivering development initiatives that improve the employee and leadership experience at HUB International.

The Regional Talent Development Manager will be an extension of the Corporate Talent & Organizational Development team, and a key member of the Regional HR and leadership teams. This role will be accountable for designing, delivering, and continuously improving learning and organizational development initiatives that align with HUB’s enterprise talent strategy while also supporting region-specific talent initiatives. The Regional Talent Development Manager will also facilitate various leadership and employee training within their assigned region and across the enterprise.

This position may be located anywhere within the East Coast near a HUB office and will have a hybrid work arrangement.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead talent development initiatives for the enterprise, taking into consideration the breadth of our businesses, our multi-national geography and needs of employees across HUB.

  • Provide support and execution for employee-centric people processes and programs that span across the employee life cycle within their assigned region.

  • Provide talent development thought leadership, design, and delivery expertise for various talent segments (employees, leaders, senior executives), and development needs (leadership and career development.)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business and our Field and Corporate HR teams to identify and understand talent needs and help direct the design and development of programs to align with organizational goals and strategy.

  • Facilitate leadership and employee development across talent segments and geographies.

  • Partner closely with HR Leaders and Regional Senior Leadership team on talent related initiatives.

  • Support Regional and Enterprise HUB talent projects: organizational design, change management, talent assessment, transition planning, team effectiveness.

  • Design relevant and meaningful program measures and success metrics that will measure the impact of our talent development initiatives.

  • Participate or lead strategic talent and organizational development (OD) initiatives – organizational design, change management, talent assessment, transition planning, team effectiveness.

  • Bring an inclusion and diversity lens to all people practice development and partner with key stakeholders across the organization to implement and support DEI initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR, talent, or organizational development experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a learning and facilitation role

  • Learning and development expertise, with proven experience designing and delivering employee development and leadership development programs

  • A customer service mindset and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership

  • High level of facilitation expertise

  • Blend of strategic thinking and practical execution

  • Proficient in designing and using people analytics – be able to harness and use data to make informed decisions

  • Understands the dynamics of a decentralized/matrix organization

  • Good organizational savvy, resilient

  • Ability to simultaneously and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Proven project management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and manage ambiguous situations

  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, LMS systems, Learning Development technology

  • Strong negotiation and influence skills

  • Passion for coaching and developing talent

  • Willingness to travel – up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree required – graduate work or degree in organizational development, HR, Education, or related field preferred

  • Demonstrated experience designing and owning talent processes is a plus

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or on an Organizational Development team is a plus

  • Exposure to delivering components of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts is a plus

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in CA, NY, NJ, WA as well as the law in Colorado: The expected salary range for this position is $130K to $150K and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
