Hub International Assistant Strategic Resource Manager in New York, New York

The Assistant Strategic Resource Manager (ASRM) plays a vital role in the growth and development of our sales culture. The ASRM works closely with the Chief Client Officer, assisting Management and Producers with achieving their goals. The ASRM also works closely with HUB corporate headquarters in Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Regional Communications

  • Assist with working with producers to promote regional events, coordinating logistics for sales meetings & assisting with producer involvement in sales seminars

  • In coordination with HUB Northeast Communications team, interface directly with regional Managers, Producers, Prospects, and Clients to help present HUB’s value proposition and marketing materials in sales meeting and new business pitch environments

  • Assist as needed with proposals, RFPs, presentations, etc.

  • Leverage campaigns distributed to national SRM team by Corporate to ensure our local team is taking advantage of resources (i.e. national webinars, go-to market campaigns, etc.

  • Tracking of activity with sales team from local events and tradeshows

Technology Tools and Resources

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all Producer and Client facing tools & resources

  • Enforce continued use of HUB’s CRM system to all producers within the region reporting to the CSO

  • Present in-person and webinar hosted training sessions for individual Producers and office locations

  • Work directly with third party vendors and receive regular corporate training

  • Work with the CSO and SVP, Communications to help onboard new Producers and acquired locations to promote their joining HUB

Administration

  • Assists sales team with management of tools & resources including activation of new accounts, reporting, data mining, and troubleshooting

  • Serves as a general problem solver and navigator for employees looking for HUB resources

  • SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or commensurate experience

  • Experience working for Insurance Broker preferred

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be MS Excel proficient (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, statistical functions)

  • Working knowledge of a CRM system is a plus (Microsoft Dynamics)

  • Creative critical thinker and problem solver, breaking complex issues into simple solutions

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, sales teams, and technical resources

  • Proven organizational skills (master of multi-tasking) with a sense of urgency

  • Exhibit good rapport with Management and Producers – they are your customers

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: No Travel Required

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
