Our Fine Arts & Special Risks Division, located in the heart of Times Square, NYC is currently seeking a highly motivated, customer-driven Account Executive looking to work in a team-orientated culture. This position is hybrid. HUB will provide the tools and the training necessary for the position.

The ideal candidate should have the necessary qualifications in personal lines handling accounts or commercial lines accounts including at least 2-5 years of experience with outside sales, service of in-house accounts, or underwriting.

Duties included but are not limited to:

  • Service existing book of mid-size Fine Art & Specialty insurance accounts, related to Personal and Corporate Collections, Museums, Institutions, Galleries, Artists and others.

  • Manage renewal process: contact client to obtain information required for renewal, prepare renewal submission and quotes for client.

  • Issue manuscript policy documents, invoice, coverage comparisons, schedules of items, and schedules of insurance,

  • Manage new business placements: prepare applications and market submission to insurers based on client needs; prepare quotes and coverage analysis and walk clients through the proposed coverages.

  • Invoice all agency bill policies, collect premium payments, and manage agency’s accounting requests.

  • Identify and develop new opportunities by rounding out coverages for existing clients, visiting outside producers and wholesalers, visiting prospective client’s, and attending industry activities

  • Maintain agency management system (EPIC) up to date with records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers by documenting and updating electronic files regularly.

  • Respond to client inquiries, service requests and step in during claims issues in a timely manner.

  • Maintain positive relationships with insurers.

Our ideal candidate is an organized individual who can multi-task, with strong and accurate attention to detail; basic analytical & problem-solving skills; good oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills; computer literate – Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point; detail-oriented; able to work independently and with a sense of urgency; and able to work well in a team environment..

The expected pay range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
