Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Risk Consultant will develop and implement best practices in risk mitigation, response planning, security, cyber threats, crisis management, travel risk and emerging technologies on existing and emerging risks for clients. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Consult with clients to understand needs and objectives

  • Develop custom solutions and advise clients on best practices in risk mitigation, response planning, security, cyber threats, crisis management, travel risk and emerging technologies

  • Implement programs using generally accepted project management and consulting practices

  • Perform security risk management and vulnerability assessments at client sites

  • Manage relationships with external partners, insurance carriers and law enforcement representatives

  • Conduct client and internal training sessions as needed

  • Facilitate drills and exercises at client sites

  • Develop educational and marketing collateral that can be distributed to clients

  • Develop and deliver webinars on risk mitigation, response planning, security, cyber threats, crisis management, travel risk and emerging technologies and other related topics

  • Respond to media requests for interviews and requests to speak at industry events

Required Experience

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in security management, emergency response, crisis management and cyber threat response planning

  • 10+ years in consulting service delivery

  • Attention to accuracy, as well as the ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines

  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make recommendations for future action

  • Experience in business development and sales desirable

  • Experience in the entertainment industry is desirable

  • Experience in the insurance industry desirable

  • Experience in supporting personal clients in the high net worth community desirable

  • Master Degree is desirable

  • Completion of (or progression towards) CPP or other security designations is desirable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High degree of self-motivation and discipline

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to travel and work beyond normally scheduled workweek as necessary
