As a Team Leader, you will collaborate and work closely with the Branch Manager to support a positive people and client experience through effective communication, coaching and mentoring, and ensuring the achievement of team goals, as well as the overall satisfaction / engagement of both clients and team members.
What you will do:
Help develop business plans, and branch goals with the Branch Manager that when executed, will support the overall client experience and organic growth in the branch including:
New business, Leads, Private Auto, Business retention, ICBC and Private Auto growth and our client experience.
Ensure an excellent and consistent client service experience, including responsibility for client concerns.
Support and promote HUB’s best practices to all team members
Proactive ability to maximize on opportunities for efficiency.
Assist with creating the branch schedule to ensure an effective and engaging client experience.
Participate actively in both the business and industry communities to build a network of contacts that improve the presence and reputation of the branch and organization.
Ability to lead by example through being a positive role model to branch team members.
Coach and mentor team members in support of goal achievement.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Talent Management Responsibilities:
Provide a professional, positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates talent.
Clear, concise and consistent communication (branch specific, corporate communications, etc.).
Ensure meetings are held with feedback solicited from all team members. Meeting outcomes to be reported to branch manager and minutes maintained.
Foster and support a positive employee experience.
Ensure compliance with ICBC rules and regulations through regular check-ins and inspection. Including batching, inventory management, forms completion, document checking, renewal calls, completing Policy Centre transactions and training completion.
Maintaining and growing the Book of Business.
Provide assistance to the walk-in customers as required.
Ensure consistent and effective application of all corporate policies and procedures as they apply to the business or to the employees
What you will bring:
Level 2 General Insurance License.
Ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and front line talent to create a results driven and team oriented environment.
Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of individuals (internal and external).
Passion and firm understanding of the Insurance industry.
Demonstrated success of being a team player.
Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional customer service skills and experience.
