The Marketing Service Assistant is a critical position supporting the marketing team in all phases of marketing. This position directly affects new client acquisition and positively impacts the client retention goals of the organization.
Provides administrative support to marketing team (i.e. creating and/or updating submission files by entering data and documents in the organizations data management system; online submission entry, carrier website rating, following up with underwriters).
Supports the pre-renewal process (i.e. schedule internal meetings, create renewal kits)
Provides binding process support
Creates draft proposal presentations
Assists Producers with new business submissions - renews and organizes data, identifies submission gaps,obtains underwriting information through available resources such as ISO, Appraiser websites, etc., builds submission in EPIC
Supports the marketing team on new business
May market single line or non-complex lines of business
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
0 – 1 year of experience
Basic insurance knowledge is a plus
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
