HUB International is looking for a dynamic New Business Administrator to provide high level administrative support to the EB&R Practice in our Leamington HUB International Office. Preparation and assembly of insurance illustrations
Processing new business applications
Ordering medical underwriting requirements
Following up with insurance carriers and underwriters for timely decisions
Prepares cover letters
Reads and analyzes incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine significance and distribute as appropriate
Prepares and sends out outgoing mail and courier items
Files and retrieves corporate documents, records, and reports efficiently for all team members
Opens, sorts and executes all correspondence, including mail, faxes and email in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Post-Secondary Education preferred
Minimum 2 years’ administrative support experience
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn new systems i.e. Epic broker management system
Strong organizational, time and client management skills
Effective communication skills: verbal and written
Strong team player
Proactive and customer focused approach
Strong initiative and follow up skills
