Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the Human Resources Manager at our HUB Financial Services (HFS) call center operation based in the Las Colinas area of Irving, TX. This is an ideal position for someone seeking a firm foundation for a career in HR. With a focus on recruiting, this position delivers one of the most impactful HR functions for the business. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also responsible for the completion of transactional HR items and coordination with shared services to ensure a superb employee experience. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is an exciting new addition to our 5-person Texas field HR team. This position would be expected to work on site in the office.

Job Duties:

  • Source candidates for new hire classes of customer service, data entry, account management, sales, and other positions of varying experience levels in Insurance and Retirement & Private Wealth

  • Screen resumes and perform telephone screen interviews for referral to managers

  • Track candidates through our talent managements system to ensure compliance, adherence to corporate protocols, and the proper measurement of recruiting metrics

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers and other interviewers

  • Generate offer letters and manage the new hire onboarding process in a manner that is engaging to new hires

  • Ensure accurate and compliant records and retention

  • Deliver a new hire onboarding and benefits presentation to each new class of employees

  • Develop professional relationships with industry and civic groups, educational institutions, and government agencies for candidate sourcing and outreach opportunities

  • Work with the HR Manager and local management team to plan and execute in-office job fairs

  • Successfully manage multiple competing priorities and simultaneous requisitions with aggressive timelines

  • File electronic copies of employee onboarding documentation and correspondence in the appropriate file management system (i.e., Workday)

  • Manage the entry, approval, and completion of tasks within Workday such as position creation, employee termination, job changes, pay changes, and other related transactions

  • Coordinate with employees and shared services such as Payroll, Benefits, and Leave Administration to answer questions and help resolve issues

  • Track employee referral bonuses and length of service bonuses for submission to payroll for timely payment

  • Active participation in the employee social/engagement committee

  • Processing ad hoc reporting via Workday as needed

  • Assist with the integration and onboarding of acquired companies as needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of Recruiting or Human Resources Coordinator experience

  • Some exposure to HR regulations, principles, and best practices

  • Exceptional organizational skills, follow up skills, and attention to detail

  • The ability to develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients at multiple levels of the organization and providing direct support to those clients

  • Call center, mortgage, and/or lender experience a plus but not required

  • Knowledge of LinkedIn and social media recruiting sites

  • Excellent initiative, intuitiveness, and resourcefulness

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook

  • Experience with Workday not required
