Position Summary

HUB International’s vision is to be everywhere risk exists – today and tomorrow. Helping protect what matters most. HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for an experienced Coordinator to provide effective support to the National Practice Lead Health & Performance in the development of HUB’s overall Health & Performance strategy in Canada, within our Employee Benefits Consulting Practice. The successful candidate will work remotely to support HUB organizations across Canada, our clients, and our HUB Health & Performance Consultants. This is a fast-paced role and involves strong teamwork, technical skills, service excellence and a positive and optimistic mindset. This role reports into the National Practice Lead, Health & Performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Works closely and aligns with other HUB International specialty practices, such as data analytics, communications, and marketing.

  • Works collaboratively with HUB Health & Performance Consultants, Employee Benefits Consultants and existing clients as required.

  • Works effectively with the Health & Performance Consulting team to develop frameworks, templates, tools, promotional content and provide health and performance consulting support, as required.

  • Collaborates with the US Health & Performance team on shared initiatives and opportunities.

  • Assist to identify, implement, and manage vendor and other partnerships nationwide that align with HUB International’s vision for health shared services.

  • Assists with contractual partnership process with potential vendors and service providers and maintain current data base.

  • Supports industry research, case studies, and thought leadership development.

  • Remains current with overall health and well-being vendors, trends and emerging best practices.

  • Assists in the identification and support of new HUB health & performance opportunities and initiatives.

  • Assists with special projects, as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated passion for and expertise in workplace health and wellbeing.

  • Relevant Post-Secondary education and/or minimum five years’ experience in: organizational health, health promotion and prevention, workplace wellness, mental health, employee benefits or health consulting.

  • Familiar with all aspects of workplace health including programs and policy from benefit plan sponsor, provider and consultant perspectives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.

  • Strong data analytics skills.

  • Strong time management, prioritization, and project management skills.

  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.) and strong aptitude with technology and social media platforms.

  • Skilled at taking complex ideas or challenges and distilling them down to clear and actionable steps, while cutting across organizational silos to collaborate on solutions.

  • Strong attention to detail and organization; ability to deliver high quality client work with high levels of efficiency and accuracy.

  • A growth mindset that seeks feedback and ongoing development.

  • Adaptable and a quick study, high tolerance for change in a growing and evolving organization.

  • Excellent customer service skill set with colleagues, clients, vendors, and insurers.

  • Problem solver: proactive and positive approach; ability to exercise initiative and follow up.
