Hub International HRIS System and Compliance Specialist in Fresno, California

The HRIS System and Compliance Specialist will build, update and train clients on our in-house Human Resource Information System and work with the EB team and clients to ensure compliance with regulations related to ERISA and employment law. This person will work closely with Clients, the Employee Benefits Producers and Service Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with EB producers in presenting our in-house HRIS system to qualified clients and prospects.

  • Work with qualified clients and service team on the initial build and subsequent updates of the HRIS system.

  • Monitor EB renewal calendar and proactively work with EB team on obtaining updated plan information to prepare for client open enrollments through the HRIS system.

  • Assist clients with Affordable Care Act Reporting.

  • Provide year-round client support for HRIS system.

  • Monitor iWin activities for upcoming client compliance services, which include WRAP contract updates and form 5500 filings.

  • Update ERISA/HIPPA Health and Welfare Plan (WRAP Plan) when needed; at renewal if plans have changed, or every 5 years if all plans stay the same and instruct client on proper distribution of the resulting benefits Summary Plan Description (SPD) and the Evidence of Coverage (EOC) to enrolled employees.

  • Submit documentation for 5500 filings (Schedule As) and e-file on behalf of qualified clients. Advise clients on proper distribution of the resulting Summary Annual Report (SAR).

  • Update all HRIS and Compliance Work in the iWin system.

  • Watch for updates from HUB’s EB Legal team that affect our clients. Coordinate with producers on pushing information out to clients. Coordinate with Client Services Coordinator and HUB’s EB legal team on answering any questions we can’t address in-house.

  • Strive to continuously pursue training and development opportunities to build knowledge and skills

  • Share knowledge of insurance, automation and other resources, contribute to building a positive working environment, treat others with respect regardless of their position

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma required;Bachelor’sDegreepreferred
