We currently have an opportunity for a Marketing and Sales Assistant (Strategic Resource Assistant) in our California region. The selected employee will assist the Strategic Resource Managers with supporting various teams through marketing efforts and client communications and calendar management for select individuals.

This position helps drive the life blood of our organization by supporting our sales growth and retention initiatives. You will be led by the Strategic Resource Managers but will have direct exposure to working with our sales team, leadership and across divisions. The sales culture is fast paced so the individual for this role needs to be energetic, positive thinking and have problem solving capabilities without constant oversight. Some, but not all, the day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with various sales & marketing projects including, event planning, internal/external communications, marketing efforts, proofreading, organizing, and formatting database lists, data input of sales leads, and general administrative support. This position is either the first or last line of defense depending on the situation to make sure the HUB brand is being presented in the quality way to strive for as an organization.

Additionally, you will be expected to be able to perform these tasks and utilize the appropriate software to execute. Training will be supplied but a proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products is expected:

  • Provide database and CRM support for sales department

  • Utilize Excel to organize and display data as needed by leadership – Intermediate Level Skills Required

  • Prepare marketing materials including brochures, presentations, welcome kits, etc.

  • Assist with the preparation of sales proposals (RFPs).

  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and spreadsheets to include updated information and branding.

  • Word processing for various correspondence as directed

  • Mail merge documents for mass mailings

  • Provide document support for various meetings and summits.

  • Other responsibilities could be assigned by Manager.


  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Creative Suite and CRM Contact Database Software.

  • Must be MS Excel proficient (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, statistical functions)

  • “Marketing solutions” mentality

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Creative critical thinker and problem solver, breaking complex issues into simple solutions

  • Exceptional communicator with customers, sales teams, and technical resources

  • Highly organized master of multi-tasking with an inherent sense of urgency

  • Good rapport with Management and Producers – they are your customers!

  • The expected salary range for this position is $16.90 - $25.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
