Hub International Regional Director in Edmonton, Alberta
HUB Financial is growing and looking for a Regional Director to drive growth in an assigned Region by promoting HUB Financial’s suite of tools, training and services. The Regional Director will act as an ambassador to existing HUB Financial Advisors, and candidates seeking a career change currently working in other industries. This role is ideal for someone with a strong entrepreneurial mind-set with established networks as they will focus on new business growth by uncovering opportunities to help existing HUB advisors as well as foster growth through new relationships with advisors not currently using HUB Financial.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Develop business through securing and developing broker relationships, recruiting new brokers and AGA contracts
To achieve the regions new business revenue objectives through effective deployment of available resources
Fulfil production objectives and carry out marketing plans and activities.
Encourage growth of existing advisor group and ensure they have access to the tools and training they require to be productive.
To execute marketing activities for the region. To follow and ensure consistency with regards to marketing activities, seminars, communications, events etc.
Manage the regional production as per budgets and objectives, and to address shortfalls and strategies to combat shortfalls.
To host regional events, speak at public seminars and forums, act as corporate ambassador representing the company in official capacity at regional events.
Manage situations that arise with brokers in areas such as marketing, compliance, commissions, etc.
Visit brokers on a regular basis ensuring that they have access to the tools and training that we offer.
Maintain the integrity and reputation of HUB Financial by ensuring that the advisors are familiar with and consistently adhere to our Code of Conduct.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
5 + Years’ experience in Life insurance industry
Public Speaking and presenting experience, leadership/sales management experience
Post-Secondary/Tertiary education (University Bachelor’s degree, College Diploma)
Life License Qualification Program is required
Strong attention to detail and strong problem solving skills and ability to think creatively.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively, utilizing good time management skills.
Demonstrated strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating with others.
