Here’s Where You Come In

The Operations Analyst works closely with the Director of Financial Operations to support the operational and financial initiatives of the region. In this role, you will be responsible for projects and tasks focused on improving operational efficiencies, automation, data integrity, reporting and more. The ideal candidate is both a team player and self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction while maintaining high levels of service and quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly financial reports including, revenue analyses, producer compensation, and team metric reporting.

  • Manage producer commission audits, updates, corrections, and reports, and respond to inquiries from sales staff around commissions and expenses.

  • Be a business process expert who will assist users to resolve issues within HUBs various Broker Management Systems.

  • Assist with regional projects including developing plans and ensuring execution of strategies that align with the overall goals of the region.

  • Update existing system data and review data for accuracy to ensure Broker Management Systems are maintained effectively for commission and revenue application.

  • Identify service team training and education gaps related to data integrity and operational processes and collaborate with key staff on resolutions.

  • Collaborate with operations leaders to determine if the potential of the service teams is being maximized according to standard industry benchmarks and best practices.

  • Foster team behavior and a sales-oriented department culture.

  • Follow agency procedures and insurance company regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Excel expertiserequired.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with thoroughness, high organization, and attention to detail.

  • Work with minimal supervision.

  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and trust at all times.

  • Keeps commitments; keeps others informed of work progress, timetables, and issues; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 2-5 years of experience performing operational, financial, or data analytic work or equivalent preferred.

Required Education: Associate degree (2-year degree)
