Enrollment Technology Specialist
Classification: Full-Time (37.50 hours/week), Hourly, Non-Exempt
Role
Assists the Internal Service Representative (ISR) in the day-to-day processing of enrollments, changes, and terminations. Also works directly with the Benefit Consultant (BC) to complete the necessary paperwork for all carrier submissions ensuring a smooth transition from one carrier to another. Sets priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Subsequent Applications
Processes all subsequent applications received directly from the ISR by email.
Prior to processing the request, reviews all information for accuracy by examining any correspondence between the client and ISR that is included as well as all attached documents.
Submissions – Manages the full submission process
Contacts the client for additional/missing information.
Transfers all employee data from the final scrubbed applications to the Carrier Enrollment Spreadsheet Census.
Ensures all necessary items are included in the submission.
Keeps Team informed throughout the process.
Follows up with the carrier for final results.
Once the first Carrier invoice is generated, compares it against the Client’s final enrollment census or applications for accuracy.
Benefit Point
- Creates the appropriate activity in BP documenting the work order received by the ISR as well as attaching proof of processing / carrier confirmation.
Miscellaneous
Train and Mentor other ETS’s.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Attends training opportunities to increase industry knowledge and practical abilities.

Performance Criteria
All subsequent applications processed within three business days from time of receipt.
Activity created and confirmation attached in BP immediately after processing.
95% accuracy in processing applications.
95% accuracy in processing submissions.
90% success in sending weekly submission status reports by end of day Friday (manager and all team members).

Reports to: EB Operations Manager
Responsibility and Accountable to: Producer, Benefits Consultant, Account Manager
