Hub International Communications Intern in Columbia, South Carolina

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the Communication Coordinator with daily task such as insurance proposals, presentation documents, and other electronic and print communications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to event planning assistance, administrative support, and assistance with internal and external communications, and completing daily task on a deadline.

DUTIES

  • Proposals & presentations in accordance with company guidelines

  • Help draft letters for client communications

  • Mail merge

  • Work closely with Communications Coordinator on sending out monthly client communications

  • Support Communications Coordinator with internal and external events

  • Assist Communication Coordinator with Intranet redesign and upkeep

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Proficient in standard business software (outlook, excel, word, PowerPoint, mail merge)

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred not required

  • Organized, self starter, and proactive when it comes to prioritizing workflow

  • High energy & and enthusiastic about completing quality work in a short time frame.

  • Person filling this position must be able to sit at a desk up to 4 hours a day and work from a computer or other office equipment.
