The Regional Auto Insurance Advisor role requires you to work in multiple offices within the region, based on branch staffing needs, providing support to the branch’s Auto Insurance operations. The successful candidate must be comfortable adapting to changing work environment, flexible work schedules, and have a reliable vehicle. The successful candidate will be proficient in BC Auto with a strong background in customer service. Whether filling a temporary Auto Insurance Advisor vacancy or covering a position where someone has called in sick, the ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can go into any office and proactively do what needs to be done. This role requires a commitment to supporting the regional team wherever needed most.

Exceptional customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions
Weekend and Evening availability, depending on the needs of the branch
Level 2 Insurance license is required
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license is required
A day in the life -
Build relationships with clients, colleagues and automobile dealership representatives to grow your professional network
Proactively and creatively offer solutions using a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products while achieving performance targets
Process a wide variety of auto insurance transactions including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more
Develop new business by cross selling and making referrals to our Personal & Commercial Insurance Lines

Salary Expectations –
The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, ie., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $45,000.00 to $52,000.00, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
