As our Licensing Coordinator , reporting into the Director of Licensing & HR Compliance, you will help provide support and guidance to our Canada West region to ensure compliance with the regulators and to provide transactional support for licensing in accordance with the governing insurance bodies within our provinces and territories.
A Day in the Life -
Provide support and administrative technique to Insurance Council Investigations.
Employee license reporting, data collection, and processing.
Responding to employee inquiries regarding licensing and education.
Full transactional support of the licensing life cycle; new hire submissions, current employee renewals, license updates and cancellations.
Licensing support for M&A’s.
Maintenance of job aids, licensing website and training material.
Support compliance research projects.
Support our licensing education department with new enrollments, tracking and processing.
Ensures compliance with the insurance bodies in the Provinces and Territories in which we conduct business.
Day-to-day support and collaboration alongside Regional HR Team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Excellent people and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Proven ability in problem-solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Licensed candidates are preferred, but this is not a requirement.
