Role Description:

The PMO, Project Quality Analyst has the primary responsibility to implement and support processes and tools designed by the PMO to support and improve Project Delivery. He/She will work closely with the project management community to provide support, drive change, and optimize processes. The PMO Project Quality Analyst reports to the PMO Director – Governance

Role Responsibilities:

•Consult and advise Project Managers on best practices using Microsoft Project to achieve project schedule

•Implement continuous process improvement throughout the resource management initiative to improve compliance and data integrity

•Determine standard metrics for tasks based on reported actual time vs planned time to identify best practices

•Create reporting capability to show project status weekly and monthly, resource capacity vs availability issues and risks and project burn vs. earned

•Define the project monitoring strategy and conduct quarterly project audits

•Coordinate PMO Training, including Project Online Training and other best practice initiatives

•Monitor and report key project metrics via executive dashboards, including project schedules and dependencies

•Monitor project results against technical specifications and performance measures

•Structure data selection in Resource profiles to generate granular time and resource reporting

•Manage the relationship with the Project online vendor and become the expert on the use of the tool

•Own the Project Online (PWA) administration for access and re-configurations

•Responsible for developing relationships and working closely with users and vendors to ensure acceptance, quality, and integrity of project information

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related experience

•Proficient with Microsoft Project Online (PWA) SharePoint

•Proficient with Microsoft Project

•Skilled experience with Power BI

•Ability to multi-task while working with local or remote resources

•Proven experience in leading and delivering projects/programs, or managing project portfolios

•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

•Ability to identify, prioritize, and synthesize ideas and solutions for process improvements

•Creative, common-sense approach to problem solving

Desired Qualifications:

•Solid knowledge of IT operations and operational environments

•Experience in Agile is a plus
