Hub International IT Continuous Improvement Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

The IT Service Delivery Manager oversees a number of key functions within the IT department to enable the delivery of a high quality service to stakeholders and end users; to ensure Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. This position is stakeholder facing role, and requires that you establish and manage service expectations within the business and drive the IT team to achieve those expectations to a high standard.
MAJOR DUTIES: The IT Continuous Improvement Analyst role at Hub International Limited reports to the Director of Continual Service Improvement and Metrics and has 2 major areas of responsibility; IT Process and Tools Improvement and IT Finance Management:
IT Process and Tools Improvement:
•Work closely with team members and vendor partners to evolve, define, build, and communicate new or improved processes
•Identify opportunities for IT process and tools improvements through process reviews and metrics / analytics
•Ownership of assigned improvement projects for process and reporting improvements
•Assist in the fielding, triaging, resolution, and lessons learned from escalations
•Produce and deliver metrics for vendor accountability
•Develop expertise in key tools; ServiceNow, Celonis (ADA), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
IT Finance Management:
•Develop a process to regularly review and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets for IT Operations / Run, including the development of new reports for management
•Ensure monthly software, hardware, and services costs and invoicing align with vendor commitments and HUB IT planned costs / accruals
•Assist in maintaining vendor relationships and negotiating vendor contracts for licenses, goods, and services
•Review and approve invoices, as appropriate
•Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
•Financial management experience or degree
•Process improvement experience
•Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
•Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
•Ability to partner with and collaboratively drive accountability with vendors and our internal teams
•Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), negotiation, and collaboration skills incorporating the ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization
•Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to identify issues and risks and work with Hub stakeholders for resolution
•Demonstrated financial degree, background, or knowledge
•Demonstrated ability to show progress in process improvement
•Microsoft tools skills a plus (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
•Lean Six Sigma knowledge, use, and skills a plus
•Insurance background a plus
