Position Summary:

HUB International is seeking a Director, Digital Product to lead the digital strategy, product management, and product design for HUBs emerging transactional personal insurance business. Reporting to the VP, Digital Marketing you will work closely with the leaders across our development, digital, analytics, and loyalty and acquisition teams. In this role, you will manage day-to-day digital experience operations including our website, landing pages, forms and chatbot. You will build a product team and implement processes centered around Agile methodology to evolve and optimize the digital customer experience. You will provide counsel to our cross-functional team as it relates to UX and digital experience; manage our digital experience agency relationship; and support HUB’s enterprise-wide digital needs through internal client engagement and business case development. This position may be located anywhere in the United States.

Role Description & Responsibilities:

  • Lead Digital Product and Product Design together to develop a strategy for the online customer experience (CX/UX) for HUB’s transactional personal lines.

  • Keep a ‘customer-first-approach’ to building products, leveraging research and data paired with empathy to build experiences that create customer stickiness

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to roll up your sleeves.

  • Collaborate with Development team and be the Product Owner for, working in an Agile framework organizing sprints which will include user testing and researching and then building out new experiences, existing feature optimizations, maintenance, and bug fixing.

  • Collaborate with the Sr. SEO Manager, Transactional Lines to ensure SEO best practices are being followed and to continue to optimize for lead conversion from organic and paid channels alike.

  • Be an officer of data-driven decisions/changes by working closely with the Digital Analytics team to monitor performance, identify opportunities for optimization and testing, and ensure proper tracking is in place on all digital experiences prior to go-live.

  • Use Agile methodology to manage HUB’s backlog and own sprint planning, stand-ups, and sprint reviews to push forward the product design and product development across all digital platforms (i.e., Sitecore, Drift, Act-On)

  • Continuously optimize web properties and provide counsel on standards for personalization, visualization and other UX delivery

  • Collaborate with Marketing Leadership and Digital Analytics teams to develop KPIs for web optimization initiatives

  • Support VP, Loyalty and Acquisition in developing a website content plan that curates, refreshes, and promotes HUB’s transactional lines products and services

  • Establish process and cadence for user testing including moderated/unmoderated user validation testing and qualitative face-to-face interviews.

  • Collaborate with internal clients to streamline, validate, and cost new design and/or development projects that align with the overall digital strategy

  • Work with IT teams as an SME and support HUB’s API/Integration strategy for integrating the tools in our MarTech Stack with our larger technology stack

  • Work with IT, Legal, and Information Security to ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0/2.1, AODA, ADA) as well as maintain privacy compliance (CCPA, GDPR)

  • Ensure adherence to brand architecture and brand guidelines

Job Requirements:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Digital Product Manager/Owner roles

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred), with concentration in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Marketing technology or related discipline

  • Proven track record of managing and building teams including hiring, mentoring, and developing team members from entry level to management

  • In depth experience developing and implementing processes and tools

  • Ability to effectively bridge the gap between Marketing, IT, and Business units; act as a liaison between marketing and IT and ability to translate business priorities into digital strategy

  • Experience leading enterprise projects, from strategic planning to implementation and delivery

  • In depth experience in strategy, analytics, and applications; includes UX, product design, and digital marketing

  • In depth experience managing a corporate website, with keen understanding of front-end development, content authoring and website auditing

  • Experience in working with enterprise headless CMS and ReactJS sites

  • Building amazing relationships with internal clients, providing project status updates, and constantly communicating to manage and meet expectations

  • In depth knowledge of website measurement tools and platforms, including Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Act-On, Marketo, Eloqua, is an asset.

  • Experience with conversational UI platforms such as Drift, Intercom, LivePerson or other chatbots, is an asset

  • Experience using third party API platforms such as Zapier, Tray.io, or Blendr.io is an asset

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset

  • Experience and/or proficiency in JavaScript, HTML and CSS is an asset

  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and desire to provide outstanding service.

  • Passion for conciseness, accuracy, and detail in written and oral communications.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

  • Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Flexible, able to adjust to changing priorities and operate effectively in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
