Associate Program Account Manager Chicago, IL
Position: Program Account Manager Description: Service program business insurance clients, rounding out accounts and retaining existing accounts. Essential duties and responsibilities: Primary responsibility to answer incoming service requests from members of our program in a service center environment. Service and sell program business products to existing clients. Gather underwriting, pricing and supporting data in preparation for a renewal marketing submission. Cross-sell and support renewal efforts by generating a specific number of opportunities to the sales team. Generate applicable reports. Establish and maintain good working relationships with company sales representatives. Provide quality customer service to existing accounts. Update electronic file notes regularly. Assist in training other employees. Pursue professional studies and maintain familiarity with trends in the industry and new insurance products. Maintain a 90% overall quality control phone audit score. Place designated number of outbound renewal calls to existing clients and conducting policy reviews. Participate in a monthly professional development session. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Property Casualty License. CISR designation or similar. Meet Bonding requirements. Understand and analyze coverage forms and policies. Clear and concise written and oral communication skills. Organize, set and maintain priorities. Work with minimal supervision. Work normally scheduled hours and additional times as needed. Minimum two years’ experience directly related to Property/Casualty. Actively pursue professional certificates/designations. Proven strong customer service skills. College degree preferred; will consider equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office products. Intermediate knowledge of Applied Epic and agency rating software as defined.
