HUB International - Strategic Resource Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Strategic Resource Analyst (SRA) . In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and development of our sales culture, with a focus on the Employee Benefits & Retirement business. You will be serving as an integral point of contact for resource curation and project coordination, including planning, executing, and overseeing the successful completion of projects within our team to support our strategic objectives. This position reports to the Strategic Resource Manager, Employee Benefits, Canada (SRM). Location is flexible and remote working is possible.

A day in the life:

Program Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end project life cycle ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables, maintaining project scope, and monitoring budget adherence. Apply program management methodologies to ensure effective and efficient execution.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors. Ensure all parties are aligned with project goals and expectations, facilitating regular communication and updates.

  • Oversee the allocation and scheduling of resources including personnel, technology, and materials. Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet project timelines and objectives.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the project. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that the final deliverables meet the highest standards and align with client needs in the Employee Benefits Brokerage space.

Project Management

  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring disciplined follow-through to meet project deadlines.

  • Manage the development of ongoing projects, effectively coordinating team members, closely monitoring progress, and executing and overseeing successful project launches.

  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement while implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Resource Allocation

  • Collaborate closely with the SRM to understand the team’s resource requirements and priorities.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of resource availability and utilization across the organization.

  • Develop and implement surveys to address a diverse range of objectives.

  • Create and manage custom sell sheets, placemats, and other sales collateral to regional needs and specialties. This includes maintaining an updated value proposition presentation and related sales collateral.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Utilize our HUB CRM System, Microsoft Dynamics, to provide comprehensive sales reports while maintaining data integrity.

  • Create and review actionable and accurate sales reports and dashboards for the Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

  • Provide valuable insights and data-driven reporting to guide strategic decision-making.

Technology Tools

  • Demonstrate proficiency in graphic design for creating and updating sales collateral while adhering to established branding guidelines.

  • Act as point of contact for our HUB intranet system, Seismic, assisting with the navigation and management of regional content.

  • Maintain data integrity within CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI.

Research

  • Conduct in-depth research to stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and relevant information related to Employee Benefits, actively supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of our QEX (Quality Employee Experience) approach.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by researching ways current processes could be improved on to drive greater efficiencies and effectiveness.

Who you are:

  • A college diploma or a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

  • 2 - 5 years’ relevant work experience in insurance, sales, communications, analytics or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.

  • Preferably bilingual (English & French).

  • Ability to think critically and provide creative solutions to problems.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills for effective program management.

  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to build rapport with sales teams, regional leadership and technical resources.

  • Highly organized master of multi-tasking with an attention to detail and an inherent sense of urgency.

  • Overall knowledge of the insurance industry is highly preferred.

  • Experience with a CRM system is a plus, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365.
