As the Vice President, Auto you are both the champion of dynamic sales and the technical expert in personal and commercial auto insurance. By applying your business acumen and insurance expertise, you envision and implement strategies across the local footprint that increase sales as well as increase retention of our current customers. You will oversee Personal and Commercial Auto, and Colwood, MGA Division including a centralized renewal centre, training and audit functions.


  • Work with the management team to set budgets, strategic planning and other initiatives pertaining to the overall operations of the organization

  • Work with branch leadership team to build and maintain strong dealership relations, ready to take quick action on escalated issues when needed

  • Liaise with carrier partners (ICBC and private markets) to ensure best products at best rates are available

  • Manage P&L for Auto Division / activities (in collaboration with peers and management team)

  • Manage producers and account managers in the division with respect to performance and growth


  • Expert knowledge of ICBC and private markets

  • Knowledge of Insurance Council

  • Ability to work collaboratively with direct reports, colleagues and front line talent to create a results driven and team oriented environment
