Our Auto Insurance Division is excited to welcome you into our client-focused culture. This position will be based out of our Burnaby or Langley locations. Reporting to the Vice President, Auto Insurance Division, the Auto Trainer will design, create, facilitate, and deliver training for Auto Personal & Commercial products, sales and service through classroom, remote virtual learning, and on-site operational formats.
The Auto Insurance Trainer in our Auto Insurance Division plays a critical part in growing our business by caring deeply about protecting our clients from risk and providing exceptional client service. What you’ll be up to as our Auto Insurance Trainer…
First things first, you’ll develop & deliver Auto Insurance training programs (ICBC, Colwood, Family, Stratford, Sales, Client Service and others)
You’ll Complete New hire onboarding and training for Auto products and systems throughout head office and all branch and operational locations (new to insurance/new to HUB)
You’ll lead, develop and deliver product knowledge and technical, sales and client experience training to new and existing auto employees
You’ll deploy new and existing training modules, including follow-up support of training modules
You’ll facilitate and provide in person and virtual support and coaching to trainees in live training environment
You’ll work towards knowledge and process consistency across all auto insurance team members
You’ll work with employees and managers to communication and coach on expectations and standards relating to Auto lines performance
You’ll act as Regular market liaison for workflows, carrier & claims information and other updates
What you bring to the table…
Let’s cut to the chase, you have industry experience, preferably a minimum of four years of training success
You’re extremely knowledgeable in ICBC and Auto Insurance business, including private auto
You’re passionate for adult education and have an entrepreneurial sales spirit
You have a Level 2 General Insurance License or working towards it
You have experience coaching and motivating sales-focused individuals
Experience working or supervising in a contact centre environment would be considered an asset
Change doesn’t phase you. You’re able to adapt and thrive in a changing environment.
You bring excellent time management skills and are able to prioritize multiple demands.
You have superior organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
You have Proven experience in design and facilitate training programs using diverse delivery methods
You’re proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
It would be an asset if you have completion of industry-related designation (CAIB, CIP, CRM).

Department General Management
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
