Hub International Senior Marketer, Real Estate Practice in Burnaby, British Columbia
As a Senior Marketer in the Real Estate Division you will work in collaboration with the Production team to strategize, develop and market new and renewal business for our clients. We are seeking an individual who has good understanding of the insurance marketplace and will be able to build and maintain good working relationships with insurance carriers. This role is based out of our Burnaby Still Creek branch and is a Regular Full Time position.
Our Burnaby Still Creek head office location is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park near Brentwood Town Centre. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

As a Senior Marketer, you will:
Co-ordinate, plan and develop marketing initiatives for our clients
Negotiate terms for new business, renewals and mid-term changes with insurance carriers
Gather and organize the information provided by Account Executives, Producers, internet and other sources to facilitate the renewal and new business submissions
Reviews the expiry lists in advance to gather and confirm information
Provide recommendations on ongoing coverage enhancements
Analyze and Review policy wordings to ensure the proper coverages are in place
Ongoing monitoring of the insurance marketplace. Maintains a current database of changing company "appetites"
Ensure there are no gaps in coverage for our clients
Other duties & responsibilities as required
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
As the successful candidate, you will bring:
Strong technical knowledge and experience working with and interpreting insurance policies
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team based environment as well as independently
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
A Level 2 General Insurance License
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial, Real Estate or Underwriting divisions
A recognized industry certification (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management, etc.) preferred but not required
