Our Personal Insurance Division is excited to welcome you into our client-focused culture. Our Burnaby Still Creek head office location is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park near Brentwood Town Centre. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore Skytrain station with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Are you our next Insurance Assistant ? Do you thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment where client service is the focus?

Here’s your chance to learn more about Personal Insurance while working closely with our Account Managers to provide administrative support to the Private Client Management Team. You will be providing an exceptionally high level of professional, accurate and efficient client service.

What you’ll be up to as our Insurance Assistan…

  • First thing’s first, you’ll be supporting Account Managers in the maintenance of high value accounts.

  • You’ll be assisting with the marketing of accounts to include new, renewal and midterm changes.

  • You’ll prepare proposals, customer correspondence, binders, and invoices as per agency standards.

  • You’ll assist with accounts receivable.

  • You’ll ensure a high level of accuracy and ensure all related information and activities have been entered on the client’s file in the Broker Management System.

  • You’ll create professional packages for our client with in-house product information.

  • You’re detail oriented and maintain accuracy of electronic files as per agency standards.

  • You’ll act as backup and resource for clients.

What you bring to the table…

  • Let’s cut to the chase. We would prefer that you have a Level 1 General Insurance License but if not, we can support you with getting there.

  • This isn’t your first rodeo. You have 1-2 years of insurance or office experience.

  • You’re adaptable and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team

  • You bring excellent communication skills to the team, both verbal and written.

  • You have superior attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • You’re proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
