The Requirements

  • Insurance experience equivalent sales or customer service experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Works well in a fast paced, client-focused environment

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Exceptional communication skills written and verbal

  • A people person, you work to provide superior client service while working collaboratively with the team

The Responsibilities

  • First things first, you’ll deliver the highest level of client service and care by servicing your assigned book of business

  • You’ll build positive relationships by working with colleagues on client renewals and new business opportunities

  • You’ll work to meet and exceed budgets; prospect new business working with other HUB divisions

  • You’ll identify coverage gaps and offer coverage solution

  • You’ll be responsible to manage and collect accounts receivables

  • You’ll focus on continued professional development to enhance your skills and abilities

Asset experience that will make you stand out:

  • Recognized industry certification preferred (CAIB, CIP, CRM, BCIT Risk Management)

  • Level 2 General Insurance License, or eagerness to obtain in a short timeframe

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000 annually and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
