Job Information

Hub International Client System Services Administrator in Brentwood, Tennessee

The Client System Services, or CSS, Administrator performs Human Resource Information System (HRIS) administration tasks and support for clients. Tasks may include: plan setup and testing; report support; EDI monitoring, tracking, and support; and data integrity auditing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following; done on behalf of clients’ employees (other duties may be assigned):

CSS Administration responsibilities:

  • Provides support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS issues and addressing user issues; gathers information, and recommends solutions and/or alternate methods to meet system and client requirements.

  • Responsible for the tracking of EDI transmissions and troubleshooting of any error reports from those transmissions

  • Notify all applicable parties when a EDI transmission is scheduled to go live

  • Request and complete audit of carrier eligibility for all new transmissions and after any major mapping change

  • Handle client questions in regards to timing of EDI transmission and eligibility issues due to them

  • Testing of benefit plan set-up for accuracy, especially deduction amounts

  • Loading and then auditing of benefit plan elections into HRIS for new clients and at Annual Enrollment

  • Perform HRIS system administration tasks, as needed

  • Create and run various HRIS reports, as needed

  • Perform data audits, as needed

  • Develop and maintain system and process documentation

  • Maintains a strong knowledge and understanding of HRIS processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to effectively and positively deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations while demonstrating sensitivity to the issue and the person involved in the issue.

Computer Skills

HRIS or Benefit Administration system configuration experience required. Experience in Ascentis, UltiPro, ADP and insurance carrier online eligibility web programs systems a plus. EDI experience a plus. Must have intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel. Microsoft Outlook (email, calendar, tasks, and contacts). Database experience helpful.
