Here’s Where You Come In

As a Vice President for Employee Benefits, you’ll play a vital role in assisting in the managing of day-to-day Employee Benefits Operations, including direct supervision of approximately 8-10 service team members.

Responsibilities of the VP of Employee Benefits role include:

  • Supervise and coordinate EB Team Leads’ efforts to ensure quality service is provided to our client's on a timely and consistent basis

  • Maintain a high performing team that embraces collaboration

  • Evaluate staff team leaders and underlying staff performance and determine / remediate any staffing needs or deficiencies

  • Supervise and coordinate service team efforts to ensure quality service is provided to our client's on a timely and consistent basis

  • Develop next generation leadership by coaching and mentoring team leaders and assisting them with their day to day operational duties and interactions with their team members.

  • Assist in the facilitating of best practices communications between service teams to ensure consistency of service standards and remediation of noted internal or external matters

  • Ensure execution of strategies that align with the strategic goals of the company

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships Account Management staff and Producers

  • Coordinate training and education initiatives for service staff to ensure technical knowledge and skills are consistent with job requirements, utilizing and requesting resources as needed

  • Promote efficient and effective use of the company's broker management systems to ensure compliance with broker and regulatory standards.

  • Support EB Practice leader, EB Sales Leader, EB VP of Operations in the development and implementation of new initiatives

You’re Great At

Ideally, you’ll be well versed in customer service, leadership, training, and development, with excellent verbal and written communications. You should also and a Life and Health License and at least 4 years’ experience managing service staff. Strong computer skills, including the ability to teach others on the utilization of at least the following tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe PDF and various carrier partner websites.
