We are currently seeking an Account Executive to provide account executives across Personal Lines Northeast with additional support in their daily account activity.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Providing Account Executive support to all Regional Personal Lines offices on an as needed basis during times of increased work flow.

  • Serving as primary point of contact for client requests including coverage, billing and claims questions and endorsement requests.

  • Completing ID cards, certificates of insurance, schedule of values and other requests from clients or Personal Lines leaders.

  • Checking policy coverages and endorsements, as needed, on all new business and renewals for accuracy and adequacy of coverage.

  • Completing or assisting in preparing proposals, policy summaries and reviews.

  • Assisting in handling coverage placement requests and invoicing.

  • Liases with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices as required.

  • Performing other specific duties as needed by the NOE region, including completing projects for Personal Lines leaders.

  • Keeping abreast of licensing requirements.

  • 5+ years experience in brokerage, consulting, or insurance company, depending on training and educational background

  • P&C license required

  • Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance. Rating experience helpful

  • Ability to analyze accounts for gaps in coverage and make recommendations including cross selling

  • Experience with excess & surplus lines

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

  • Ability to work within designated time frames

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Applied EPIC preferred

Required Travel: Negligible

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
