Position Overview

Specialty Program Group’s Center of Operations Excellence is looking for a manager to lead our Process Excellence initiatives. This will be a key role with a deep understanding of P&C insurance operations, acting as a process expert and partner to business leaders in driving optimization and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand challenges, solve problems, improve, and enhance processes to align with business priorities.

• Organize and lead process improvement workshops with key stakeholders to map current processes, identify pain points and improvement opportunities.

• Design future state processes and create optimization roll out plans.

• Identify opportunities that improve customer experience, user-experience, and eliminate waste.

• Identify common issues, solutions, and best practices across the enterprise to drive business process standardization.

• Lead presentations to key business leaders to report out on improvements, action plans, and progress.

• Drive process improvements to successful completion providing quantifiable value to stakeholders.

• Ensure proper engagement and communication around scope, roles/responsibilities, key milestones/deliverables & technology risks/dependencies.

• Train, develop and coach Process Analysts and ensure delivery of quality work product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• 7-10 years of Insurance Operations process management experience

• 5+ years’ experience delivering measurable results on process improvement/redesign projects.

• Strong Project Management Skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables.

• Advanced skills in Excel, Visio, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze, optimize and document complex business processes.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills

• LEAN Certification or trained in LEAN & Six Sigma principles.

• Change agent with ability to guide others through change.

Position Location

This position is Hybrid located in Summit, NJ or Atlanta, GA

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
